Terms and Conditions
All Internet orders require pre-payment in £ Pounds Sterling and we are able to accept the following methods -
Visa / Mastercard / Visa Debit / Maestro / Solo / Paypal
If you are ordering by post please note that all individual mail order customer orders must be pre-paid and must include postage and packing charges. Please include your name and address, a different address for delivery (if required) and the details of the items you require. Payment can be made either by using one of the above methods applicable to Internet orders or by cheque or bank transfer. All cheques should be made payable to Tibetan Art and must be made in £ Pounds Sterling.
Overseas customers - all transactions will be charged in £ Pounds Sterling - your credit card company will calculate any applicable exchange rates when charging you in your home currency.
Urgent Orders and Deadlines
If you have a delivery deadline or an urgent order, please email or call us and let us know your requirements.
Prices are subject to alteration without notice, but we will attempt to notify customers of any alterations prior to processing your order.
Prices and publication dates for titles not yet published are provisional and for guidance only.
Your order will be charged in GBP. Dollar/Euro prices are for information only and may vary depending on the current exchange rate.
In the case of shipment to customers outside the U.K, any import duties or tariffs are the responsibility of the customer.

Individual Mail Order Customers
We understand how important it is to our customers to show our postage charges up front, rather than add them in at the checkout as "hidden" charges. Therefore before you proceed to enter your payment details the postage charges this order would incur would be calculated for you.
We ship by the most economical or customer preferred method in order to tailor shipping costs to your needs.
Orders may be shipped in more than one package and may not arrive simultaneously. We endeavour to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 working days. Delivery time can vary depending on the method of shipping and the destination. Our charges vary depending on the delivery address of each order.
Trade and Buddhist / Meditation Centre Customers
Within the UK postage and packing is free to all trade and Buddhist / meditation centre customers, except on single book orders and on orders with a value less than £50 where any such orders will be subject to our standard UK postage and packing charges.
Overseas trade and Buddhist / meditation centre customers are subject to postage and packing charges with due consideration given to the weight of the items and the postage costs to the country concerned.
At Tibetan Art we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy.
For all items:
We accept the return of all other items only if they are unopened and in their original condition. If you return goods, as detailed, within 30 days, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
You can always return items if they are defective. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. Please see "To return an item" below for details of how to return defective items to us.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
To return an item:
To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address below. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any), with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories. Then send the package to the address below:

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelling an item:
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. This applies to all our products. Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us at the returns address below:

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
Lost / Missing Items :
If you believe the delivery is severely overdue, please send our Customer Services an e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Once we hear from you we will take appropriate action.
Back orders are items which are temporarily unavailable. While it is our goal to deliver your order quickly, it is occasionally necessary to backorder items. These items are recorded and dispatched when they become available. Back orders are shipped by the same method as the originating order.
